The Ciabatta Zone is the twenty first episode of Season 10 and the 266th overall episode of Beavis and Butt-Head.
Summary[]
A jealous Beavis decides to create his own costume after Butt-Head is given a hamburger costume to wear to promote Burger World's newest hamburger.
Plot[]
Beavis is mopping the floor at Burger World, getting it dirtier and stickier since Butt-Head has filled the mop bucket with condiments. The new Burger World manager fails to notice this prank as he steps up carrying a giant hamburger mascott costume to tell them about a promo campaign for the latest Burger World product, the new Ciabatta Maple Burger.
Butt-Head thinks that is the dumbest thing he ever saw while Beavis finds it very cool and would love to wear the costume. The completely indifferent manager sticks Butt-Head with the promo job though and makes Beavis keep "cleaning" the floor.
After getting fully into costume, Butt-Head takes up promo duty in front of the restaurant, trying his best to greet customers with the slogan "Welcome to the Ciabatta Zone!" Although never getting it quite right, lots of pretty girls are loving his get-up and have fun taking selfies with the mascott. This makes Beavis very sad and jealous.
The next day back in their couch, Butt-Head recounts his adventures with all the girls to a despondent Beavis while already - or still? - wearing the lower half of the mascott costume. Beavis tries asking Butt-Head if he can eventually have a go as the Ciabatta mascott but does not even register to Butt-Head, who assures him he will never, ever take the suit off again until the end of time, except for unzipping it sometimes to show the chicks his "Ciabatta Zone".
Later at Burger World, Butt-Head has taken up his station and the novelty of the mascott appears to have worn off somewhat to the female Burger World patrons when Beavis steps up to him in a self-made mascott costume botched together out of a traffic cone for a hat, two sofa cushions with cold cuts and cheese slices taped to them, a green curtain, and some white socks instead of large mascott foam hands.
Butt-Head inquires what he is supposed to be, to which Beavis replies "Pizza!" He proceeds to welcome indifferent customers "to the Pizza," greatly annoying Butt-Head who is not the only one having difficulty understanding the significance of Beavis' costume. Beavis is next seen explaining it to some Burger World customers, pointing out the slices of pepperoni and sausage he has taped to the sofa cushions tied to his torso while the traffic cone is supposed to signify "something else they put on pizza, like maybe fruit or something." They take him for a panhandler, replying they have no spare change.
Meanwhile, a young man steps to Butt-Head, asking him if he touched Angela Dattilo's butt the day before with his mascott glove. Apparently, Angela's angry boy friend is on his way to take revenge. This leads Butt-Head to finally sharing the hamburger costume with a very happy Beavis who immediately puts on the great big hamburger head while Butt-Head remains in the lower half of the costume. Soon, the boyfriend arrives, is sicced on Beavis by Butt-Head and starts beating him up.
Later in their now cushion-less couch, both agree it was a great day where both of them got what they wanted: Beavis wanted to be the hamburger and Butt-Head wanted Beavis to get his ass kicked. And some guy even said he was going to send the video to World Star!
