Sterculius, the Roman God of Feces

Sterculius is a character that only appeared in "Peace, Love and Understanding". He buried the arena in feces after a monster truck crushed into a lineup of porta-potties.

Sterculius appeared as a brown translucent cloud with an angry face.

Personality[]

Sterculius was a vengeful god, punishing those who desecrated his temple (the porta-potties.)

  • Butt-head was somehow familiar with Sterculius, recognizing him immediately on sight when he manifested.
  • Sterculius, also called Sterquilinus or Stercutus, is an actual figure of Roman mythology, though his role was more focused on the odor of manure as a fertilizer (very important to an agrarian society such as the Romans.) Writers in later centuries emphasized Sterculius' role as a god of feces, often to disapprovingly (and falsely) imply the ancients were actually worshiping poop.
