"Snitchers" is the 20th episode in Season 8 of Beavis and Butt-Head. It is the 220th episode overall.
Plot[]
In front of Maxi-Mart, Beavis and Butt-Head see Todd arguing with a man about money that Todd owes. Todd asserts he doesn't have it, knocks the man out in a single punch, and gets on his motorcycle, leaving the boys in awe.
Later, the two are at home still talking about how it cool it was when suddenly, Todd bursts through their front door on his motorcycle and tells the two of them that he's being charged with assault. As they start fawning over him, he strangles them and explains that since they were the only witnesses, they'll have to go to court. He says to tell anyone who asks that what he did was in self-defense. Beavis and Butt-Head agree to lie for Todd.
Later, in the courtroom, the duo claim that Todd acted in self-defense, but still name him as the instigator, thinking it was cool and not understanding the contradiction. Todd is furious, but cannot speak up against the boys. During the trial, his lawyer reads out many, many, MANY incidents highlighting the duo's lack of reliability as witnesses (such as playing frog baseball and being sent all the way back to kindergarten), all of which they affirm are true. This reading throws the session out of court.
Later, outside Maxi-Mart again, Todd and his gang approach Beavis and Butt-Head in his car. Todd tells them the charges against him were dropped because the judge deemed the duo too stupid to be credible witnesses. He "thanks" them for getting him off the hook by shoving them in his trunk and taking them for a drive.

Trivia[]
- This episode marks Todd's first canon appearance since "Drinking Butt-ies" in 1997, and his first overall appearance since "Leave It to Beavis". This is also his only appearance in the 2011 revival (although he was previously mentioned in "Doomsday"), and until Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe in 2022.
- This is the first time in the series Toby Huss is credited by his real name, rather than a pseudonym.
- This is also, to date, Todd's last major role in the series, since he would only appear in Beavis' fantasy in Do the Universe where he and his gang get killed by Serena Ryan, and he would be absent from the 2022 revival aside from an alien version of him appearing in "Abduction".
- The episode references two past episodes when Beavis and Butt-Head were asked if it was true that they had once played a baseball game where they used a frog for the ball, and that they had been sent back from 10th grade all the way down to kindergarten.
- These references, along with the Mr. Manners episodes, certain throwaway call-backs to previous episodes by the duo, and the clip show in "Beavis and Butt-Head Are Dead", reveal that the show has its own continuity, despite a fifteen-year technological gap between "Beavis and Butt-Head Are Dead" and "Werewolves of Highland", as well as abundant references to early 2010's and 2000's culture, Barack Obama's presidency, and the No Child Left Behind Law established by George W. Bush being the catalyst of the episode "School Test", and Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe rendering the 2011 revival non-canon as a result of the duo being sent from 1998 to 2022 via a black hole.
- It is entirely possible that this episode (except for the video review segments) takes place in the 90's, likely in 1997 due to the presence of DVD players in the duo's house in this episode, one year before they got lost in space, or at a later date in the alternate timeline where they never got sent to 2022 and aged naturally (again, 1997 at the earliest).

- The episode also mentions the episode "Candy Sale" when Beavis and Butt-Head lend two dollars back-and-forth to each other.
- Leroy and one of his gang members are seen with Todd in this episode. This likely implies that he and Todd decided to end their rivalry and team up after the events of the Virtual Stupidity video game. This also marks their last appearances to date.
- Todd's lines "I was totally acting in self-defense!" and "guess what, guys!" in this episode were reused in the Call of Duty x Beavis and Butt-Head collab for his skin.
