Screamers is the 31st episode in Season 5 of Beavis and Butt-Head. It is the overall 124th episode.

Plot

The duo are sitting at home watching the conclusion of a slasher film called "Naked Chick Killer". Two women are going skinny dipping in a lake, when the killer comes out at them from behind the bushes. As the girls scream in terror, Beavis and Butt-head scream along with them. The duo decide that screaming is cool, so they decide to go out and scream in front of random people for no reason. They do a "practice screaming" outside their house to start, and then go screaming elsewhere.

Tom Anderson is watching television when he hears the doorbell ring. He goes to answer it, hoping it might be Ed Mcmahon and Dick Clark. But when he opens up the door, Beavis and Butt-head show up and start screaming in front of his face. Afterwards, Tom summons the police, telling about the "two hoodlums who came by his doorstep and started screaming bloody murder".

Beavis and Butt-head's screaming starts to get out of hand, as it causes two next door neighbors to start arguing. The two hear someone coming and try to use the screaming tactic on him, but it turns out to be a police officer. He explains to them that what they are doing is not only considered noise vandalism, but just like that little brat who cried wolf - and that no one will help them if there really is trouble. The cop gives the duo his number and tells them, if they really want to scream for fun, to do it indoors.

When Beavis and Butt-head get home, they comment on how the cop was yelling in their ears. They then decide to start calling random people. They call Stewart, and when he answers, they start screaming into the phone. After that, they use the number the cop gave them, and the police station answers. Beavis and Butt-head start screaming again, and the episode ends.
