Beavis's broken, bloody nose.

ad fight on the couch and Butt-Head keeps hitting Beavis in the face with his fist, causing his nose to bleed. The duo try several misguided attempts to make it stop (often confusing it with different remedies for other simple emergencies such as hiccups, choking, and a loose tooth) such as smacking Beavis in the face (which, in turn gets blood on Butt-Head's hand but he wipes it on Beavis' shirt). Butt-Head then tries a different approach with him scaring Beavis (as if he had the hiccups) which makes Beavis bleed more. Butt-Head has "another idea" which involves placing a brown paper bag on Beavis' head but it gets soaked in blood and Beavis now has blood all over his face. Beavis then lies upside down against a wall with Butt-Head giving him a cup of water and telling him to "drink it with his nose", causing him to cough and sneeze more blood. Butt-Head then gives Beavis the heimlich maneuver which causes blood to spew out of Beavis' mouth and nose. Then a string is tied to Beavis (offscreen but it is unsure if it's tied to his tooth or his nose) and the string is tied to a doorknob and Butt-Head closes the door causing a large amount of blood to spray all over the room.

Butt-head tries to stop Beavis's nosebleed.

Beavis then lies on the couch in agony, thinking he will surely die as Butt-Head calls for help. Butt-Head accidently calls 4-11 (information) and is transferred to 9-11 for his emergency. The operator tells him that a nosebleed is "not an emergency". He tells Beavis and he says "that's nice". Butt-Head has one more idea and he goes to a gas station and asks a woman to get him "one of those things you put on your thing when you have your thing". This results in him getting punched in the face. Butt-Head obtains a few tampons and puts one in his and Beavis' nose (as they now BOTH have a nosebleed) and they pretend to act like women and watch TV.

Trivia

  • Nosebleeds would, in some circumstances, be considered a medical emergency and as such the 911 call should not have been disclosed - rather more questions should have been asked.
  • First episode aired after STS-82 tune-up and repair work on the Hubble Space Telescope by astronauts from Space Shuttle Discovery.
  • This is considered by fans to be the most violent/bloodiest episode of the series.
