McVicker's Family (voiced by Yvette and Randall Kaplan) are a hypothetical family Beavis imagines Principal McVicker having in "Huh-Huh-Humbug", who all resemble him. They consist of a mother, six kids, and an old grey dog.
They first appear in the special when Mr. Van Driessen (who is The Ghost of Christmas Present) shows Beavis (who is dreaming about being the Ebenezer Scrooge-esque manager of Burger World, with McVicker taking his place as the fry cook) a vision of them waiting for the patriarch to come home from work with their Christmas dinner, which consists of a Merry Meal he stole from Burger World (along with a "Christmas present" of stick on tattoos that came with it) due to their poverty from his poor wages. They are shown to be extremely grateful and overjoyed by this, since it's all they can afford on such a low budget.
Later, when Coach Buzzcut (as The Ghost of Christmas Future) appears in Beavis' house, he shows Beavis a vision of Mr. and Mrs. McVicker mourning the loss of their children, who starved to death because their dad couldn't afford enough food for them.
Personalities[]
They are all depicted as copies of Mr. McVicker at different ages and genders. Each of them share many of his mannerisms, such as his stuttering, trembling, and his accent. In both visions, they are shown to be miserable and sad, due to their poverty, and are seen outright praying for the patriarch to return with at least a little bit of food (even if it is garbage).
Trivia[]
- It is unknown if Mr. McVicker is really married, or if he even has children, since his wife and kids only appeared in a dream and he has never mentioned them in any episode that takes place in real life, as well as being shown with a prostitute in Beavis and Butt-Head Do America (and even if he did, they wouldn't be carbon copies of him since they were imagined by Beavis). McVicker's dog has never been seen anywhere else either.
- McVicker's wife is voiced by Yvette Kaplan while McVicker's two sons who speak are both voiced by her son Randall Kaplan.
