Not to be confused with thin Martin, another classmate who filmed Beavis and Butt-Head's "teen obesity" documentary in "Supersize Me".
Martin is a recurring character in Beavis and Butt-Head. He was a student at Highland High School, originally part of the gifted class, before Beavis accidentally fried his brain while he was performing a dangerous experiment on himself, reducing Martin to his and Butt-Head's intelligence and causing him to become one of their classmates for the rest of the original series run. He is voiced by Mike Judge.
Physical appearance[]
Martin is a chubby boy with short brown hair, round glasses, a blue-grey shirt, pale brown pants, and dark brown loafers. In the Virtual Stupidity video game, his shirt was sea green. In "Cyber-Butt", there was a picture of a bomb on his shirt.
Personality[]
Martin is a highly intelligent boy, who was part of Highland High's gifted class because of his intelligence. He is often seen on his computer, performing dangerous experiments. He is rather condescending to those less intelligent than him, since he tells his teacher Tanya that Beavis and Butt-Head wouldn't understand his brain enhancing experiment in a somewhat arrogant tone, and he talks down to the duo when he is performing a similar experiment on a chimpanzee in their science class, having the chimp he is testing on insult them.
Despite being a genius, he seems to lack a bit of common sense, since he doesn't take proper safety precautions for his experiment (which results in it going horribly wrong), and he claims to have based it on an episode of Doctor Who, a fictional sci-fi series. When Beavis trips on his cords and unplugs his devices while his cranium was expanding, it deflates and Martin gets brain damage, reducing him to the intelligence (or lack thereof) of the duo. This results in him getting kicked out of the gifted program and sent to Mr. Buzzcut's class, where Buzzcut sics his jealous class on the terrified Martin.
In "Cyber-Butt", he seems to have found common ground in Stewart, another nerdy student, and in "It's a Miserable Life", in an alternate reality where Butt-Head never existed, his girlfriend was Kimberly.

- Despite Beavis reducing his intelligence, Martin seems to have regained it by the Virtual Stupidity video game, since he is seen doing an equally risky translation experiment on a chimpanzee (apparently not having learned from last time).
- He shares his first name with another thinner classmate of the duo's. Both Martins have been seen together in the classroom in various episodes.
