Beavis and Butt-Head

Marcie Anderson is Tom Anderson's wife. Unlike her husband, she only appears in a few episodes of the show.

In Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, she and Tom go on a road trip, where they find themselves at the brunt of Beavis and Butt-Head's antics. At the end of the film, her husband is arrested and she is taken into custody and given a full body cavity search.

Much like how Tom resembles an older Hank Hill, Marcie resembles an older Peggy Hill from King of the Hill. However, this seems to be coincidental, as Peggy isn't based on Marcie at all, unlike Hank is based on Tom.

Physical appearance[]

Marcie is an elderly woman with gray hair, spectacles, a pink shirt, and lavender bottoms. Her clothes change color in each of her appearances.

Not much is known about her, as she is only seen a few times, but Marcie seems to be a kind elderly woman who is happily married to Tom. She seems to be unaware of the duo's disrespect for her husband and their destructive nature, not unlike Mrs. Stevenson (most of the time).

Original run[]

2022 revival[]

  • In "Roof", it is revealed she is still alive in the 2020s, implying she is healthy for her age.
  • Marcie is one of the few characters not to appear in the 2011 revival (Season 8). As Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe states that there is a multiverse, it is possible that she just doesn't exist in Season 8's universe/timeline.
  • Marcie was one of the few female characters in the series to be voiced by a man, in this case, Mike Judge. However, in Do America, she was voiced by a woman, Lisa Kathleen-Collins, and in Season 9, she is voiced by Toks Olagundoye.
  • Her name was spelled "Marcy" in "Good Credit".
