Here Lies Beavis. He Never Scored[]

On December 19, 1995, MTV aired the seventh episode of the 6th season of Beavis and Butt-Head entitled "Huh-Huh-Humbug". The episode, a parody of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, sees Beavis, the Ebenezer Scrooge-like manager of local fast-food restaurant Burger World, being visited by 3 ghosts portrayed by Tom Anderson, Mr. Van Driessen and Coach Buzzcut as he attempts to watch a pornographic film. In one scene, set in a graveyard, Beavis reads his own tombstone's epitaph witch says "Here Lies Beavis. He Never Scored".

On October 25, 2011, Jeff Wysaski posted 18 Halloween-themed gifs on his blog Pleated Jeans, one of which was a gif of the scene. On May 26, 2014, YouTube user Jim Jesus posted a video mashing up the scene with the video posted by the perpetrator of the 2014 Isla Vista killings, Elliot Rodgers with the text on the tombstone changed to read "Here Lies Elliot. He Never Scored". As of January 10, 2018, the video has received 11,866 views 191 likes and 23 dislikes.

People began responding to the image by posting who they believe they resemble. For example, Twitter user @thor_benson retweeted the image with the comment, "They literally look like Beavis and Butt-Head." The tweet received more than 7,200 likes and 985 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below, left).

That day, Twitter user @MattGertz tweeted the image and the caption, "Legitimately curious about whether Jim Jordan is paying Matt Gaetz to dress this way in order to make himself look stylish by comparison." The post received more than 9,100 likes and 1,600 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below, center).

Twitter user @maxberger tweeted the image with the caption "who are these two? wrong answers only." The tweet received more than 5,400 likes and 2,600 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below, right).

Matt Gaetz responded to the comments, writing, "He gave me $100. Enough to buy two more of these suits…" The tweet received more than 11,000 likes and 1,500 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below).

Were Gonna Be Talking About The Penis![]

The episode "No Laughing (Part 2), which originally aired on June 2nd, 1993 on MTV, has Beavis and Butt-head ordered to not laugh by Principal McVicker, or else they risk expulsion from the school. Later that day they have to face a sexual education course by Coach Buzzcut, in which they struggle to not laugh as the coach goes over various sexual terms. This clip (shown below) was uploaded to YouTube on July 7th, 2020, by "Classickiller69 1", and has over 90,000 views.
