Jim Hartson is a character in Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe. He is a former astronaut at NASA who becomes lieutenant governor of Texas in the 21st century.
He is voiced by Nat Faxon.
Personality[]
Hartson is often downtrodden (oppressed or treated badly by people in power) by the higher-up Serena Ryan who dismisses his words and yells at him often, which leads to him betraying her later on.
Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe[]
When Serena Ryan and the government capture Beavis and Butt-Head, Hartson covertly helps them escape using his car after knowing that Serena attempted to kill them in 1998, although they only follow Serena and the others to their house, believing that Hartson wants to stop them from scoring with Serena. When all parties meet at B&B's house, Hartson attempts to report Serena to the FBI before being sucked into a portal.
What became of Hartson's fate after being sucked back into 1998 is never brought up again and whether or not him traveling back in time could drastically alter the timeline isn't considered either since he apparently didn't die and could conceivably just try to target Serena back in the 90s.
