Fire is a minor character in the 2022 revival of Beavis and Butt-Head. He appears in the Season 9 episode "The Special One", as a deity that can talk to Beavis.
This fiery deity appeared as early as Beavis' third birthday, when he ordered the young blonde to gaze at his "fearful glory", causing Beavis to develop pyromania that he would be infamous for in the present day.
Later in Beavis' life, the Fire reappeared in a dumpster outside of a wing restaurant Beavis was just kicked out of. As an awestruck Beavis was prepared to do some chaos in Fire's name, Fire instead orders him to do tedious tasks such as running a mile around Highland High School's track and cleaning up trash in the alleyway and tossing them in the blue recycling can. When Fire ordered Beavis to read Call of the Wild and write a 2 page report on it, as well as telling him to start thinking about college, instead, Beavis became annoyed and informed the cashier at the wing place of the fire in the dumpster. The cashier then put Fire out, "killing" him, and Beavis mutters that that particular fire "sucked".
Physical appearance[]
Fire appears as a huge flame with a face consisting of glowing beady eyes, bushy flame eyebrows, a short pointy nose, and a flame beard.
Personality[]
Fire presents himself as a powerful, dangerous and intimidating being with a booming voice that gets more intense with volume. However, he also seems to serve as Beavis' conscience, as he commands him to do several productive and helpful things such as running and recycling, and to apply himself for the future instead of slacking off all his life.
Trivia[]
- The episode makes it ambiguous as to whether Fire was part of Beavis' imagination, or if he was really a supernatural entity, especially since Beavis has been known to hallucinate, and proper supernatural deities have appeared before and after the episode in the show's "real life", such as Sterculius from "Peace, Love and Understanding" and Charlie from "It's a Miserable Life".
