Earl is a minor character in Beavis and Butt-Head. He was one of Beavis and Butt-Head's classmates, and often antagonized them. His most notable appearance was in "Incognito", where he threatened to kill the duo.
He was voiced by Julian Rebolledo, under the pseudonym of "Dean Julian", and speaks with a southern American accent.
Physical appearance[]
Earl has a buzz cut hair style and a tough, angular face with a stubby goatee. He wears a white (sometimes blue) t-shirt with a black (sometimes gray) jacket. He also has a small, yellow skull-shaped earring on his left side (only shown in "Pierced"). In "Wall of Youth", he was depicted as African-American.
Personality[]
Earl is very quiet, and implied to be a violent thug. He carries a gun to school often, threatens the duo much like Todd does (he is even depicted as being in Todd's gang in the comics and the SNES game), and appears on the after-school program Teen Talk with Captain Dick Jackman, further implying a troubled homelife and/or general delinquency. Despite this, Earl is implied to have a soft spot, as he shows immense respect for Mr. Van Driessen, taking offense when he gets interrupted, and lets the duo off the hook (even thanking them) in "Incognito" when they don't blame him for gunshots. Despite wielding a gun and engaging in various acts of violence, even he was seen horrified at the aftermath of the Bloody Mess Behind the Wheel PSA in "Safe Driving". He also cries when his weapons are confiscated from him.
Unlike Todd and a handful of his gang members who were only seen at Highland High in select early episodes, Earl hadn't dropped out of school, having stayed present in class over the course of the original series' run, which, along with his respect for Van Driessen, implies that he cared about his future to some degree.

- Although Earl carries a pistol, in the Sega Genesis game, it is a dart gun (probably as a content edit, though he can still weaken the duo with it).
- In issue 26 of the comics, it is heavily implied that he had sex with Beavis, while the latter was disguised as a school girl.
- Earl does not appear in either the 2011 revival or the 2022 revival, making him one of the few characters to be exclusive to the original series.
