Dean Zunker is a minor character in Beavis and Butt-Head. He was a student at Highland High School and one of Beavis and Butt-Head's classmates. While usually a background character, Dean has had a few speaking roles in the original series run, where he is shown to be on good terms with the duo.
Physical appearance[]
Dean is a chubby boy with thin rectangular glasses and brown hair, and wears a t-shirt and blue jeans. His shirt changed colors throughout the series, from gray to green to black to red, before permanently staying red from Season 7 onwards.
In the 2011 revival (Season 8), he has slightly longer hair, but otherwise remains unchanged from the original run.
Personality[]
Dean is a kind, laid-back teenager and one of the few students who does not appear to hate Beavis and Butt-Head, as he is often seen making frequent friendly conversation with them. He is possibly their only regular male classmate to do so. Despite this, he didn't seem to care less when they were reported dead in "Beavis and Butt-Head Are Dead".

- He is somewhat similar to Stewart, in that they're both nerdy, chubby classmates of the duo who are friendlier towards them than most other characters.
- In the Marvel Beavis and Butt-Head Comics Issue No.28, "Time Cap", Dean reveals he likes Socko, Clark Cobb's sock puppet.
