Butt Bowl I was a half hour special that aired on January 30, 1994, during the halftime break of Super Bowl XXVIII. Unlike subsequent Butt Bowls, this one did not feature any episode premieres.
Before Butt Bowl I aired, MTV had scrolling text that said "MTV Viewer Bulletin... 100% odds the Superbowl Half-Time Show will Suck!!! Instead, switch to MTV's 'Butt Bowl' starring Beavis & Butt-head... tomorrow at Half-Time.".

Narrator: We interrupt our regularly scheduled program for MTV's First Annual Beavis and Butt-head Butt Bowl.
Beavis: Football kicks ass!
Butt-head: Yeah.
Beavis: I want to see the jugs.
Butt-head: They're called The Judds, dumbass.
Beavis: But what about their jugs? Yeah!
Butt-head: Well, they have jugs, but it's, like, they just play country music.
Beavis: Oh, really? Let's watch something cool.
Butt-head: Yeah.
