Burger World

Burger World is the 3rd episode of Season 2 of Beavis and Butt-Head. It is the 8th overall episode.

Plot[]

The episode begins with Beavis and Butt-Head watching Star Trek on TV.

Later that day, at Burger World, the two are taking out the trash when Butt-Head finds and eats a half-eaten Chicken Sandwich. Beavis comes across a dead mouse on the ground which he takes inside with the idea of frying it and serving it for the next customer's order.

Tom Anderson stops by and orders a large fries, pie, and a large coffee. Butt-Head tells him to pull up to the window and Tom doesn't understand what Butt-Head is saying. Mr. Anderson gets angry because Butt-Head didn't get his order.

In the kitchen, instead of preparing a large fries, pie, and large coffee, Beavis fries the dead mouse and bugs from some fly-paper. While Beavis is cooking, Mr. Anderson comes in furiously. However, the door swings into his face and cracks his glasses. Therefore, he cannot recognize the duo from the previous mayhem they have caused him.

He tells Beavis and Butt-Head that he orders his fries, pie, and coffee every Thursday afternoon before he goes to the foot doctor. Now, he is getting fed up with having to wait for 20 minutes each. He puts on his glasses, but since they are crack he cannot make them out. So he thinks that Beavis and Butt-Head spray-painted his dog last week, but Butt-Head says that there were "other kids".

Then, Beavis serves Mr. Anderson his "order" that he just prepared. Butt-Head checks the cash register to see how much it cost, but as a dead mouse and bugs aren't on the cash register, he says that Tom's food is free.

The two then give Anderson his food and tells them he will be in later that afternoon.

He then offers to trim the restaurant's shrubs in which the two just stare confused. The two then laugh with glee after giving Anderson his “Mouse Burger and French Flies”. Beavis then informs Butt-Head that he knows where a dead raccoon is and then proceed to retrieve it.

Then, the boys sit in-front of the TV again as Butt-Head talks about rump roast. Then a home-owners ad comes on, and Butt-Head tells Beavis to pay attention. Beavis then calls him a chode smoker, and then they both laugh.

Censorship[]

Beavis calling Butt-Head a "chode smoker" at the end was cut from early airings and home video releases and restored in later airings.
In the TV version, there is an extra transition video which shows the exterior of Burger World after Beavis and Butt-Head go back into the restaurant after just having been at the dumpster and before Mr. Anderson pulls up to the menu board outside.

This marks the first appearance of Burger World. However, the Burger World Manager wouldn't appear until "Closing Time".
- In production order. this was the first appearance of Tom Anderson. However, his first appearance in broadcast order was in "Good Credit", which was produced 5 episodes after this one.
