Beavis and Butt-head Do U is the second adventure computer game based the American animated television series created by Mike Judge, Beavis and Butt-head, after Virtual Stupidity. It was released on March 7, 1999, nearly two years after the original final episode of Beavis and Butt-head Are Dead, which aired on November 28, 1997.

Synopsis[]

In school again, Mr. Van Driessen has organized a school trip and orientation to Highland University. Much to the duo's joy, the two take it as the chance to properly hit the big time and score. Their quest awaits....

Reception[]

Far from the shining reception Virtual Stupidity received in 1995, IGN and GameSpot ranked Do U with mixed reception. As by the words of IGN:

"Beavis and Butt-head Do U feels like a game that was rushed out at about the halfway point in the video game development process - a suspicion that grew stronger after the game's weak finale. Casual Beavis and Butt-head fans might be satisfied with hearing their favorite cartoon characters say the same old stuff in a brand-new place, but discerning fans - and gamers looking for their money's worth in an adventure game - will likely walk away from this one feeling a little bit cheated."

Though graphically a step up in terms of video games, making use of early 3D graphics for transitions and polished animation loyal sprite work, Do U is also felt as rather weak in story payoff by fans.
